A survey by the Israel-based Arab Centre for Social Media Advancement has discovered that 60,000 Israelis wrote at least one racist, anti-Arab Facebook post in 2016. The survey showed that the number of discriminatory or defamatory posts on the social network reached 675,000, with an average of one post every 46 seconds, double the figure of 280,000 found in 2015.
