Nuba is a pretty village which is effectively an extension of the town of Kharas. Its small centre is home to just a couple of shops including a mini-market, while there is more life in the roads stretching out from the centre. Its old town is simple yet beautiful, and the most attractive part of the village to wander. The village is just 11km north of the city of Hebron, an economic and cultural hub for the entire southern West Bank.

The Old Town area is extremely pretty, with classic Palestinian homes built with domed roofs and charming arched windows and doors. Nuba’s proximity to Hebron means that everything the large and buzzing city has to offer can be reached easily.
There are several shops in Nuba and neighbouring Kharas where supplies can be stocked up. But for a proper meal out, either head 12km south to Hebron or up north to Bethlehem, Beit Sahour, Beit Jala or even Jerusalem for a great variety.
There are four hotels in Hebron. Alternatively, in Bethlehem, Jerusalem and the surrounding area there is a much greater range of accommodation, catering to all needs.
