Anza
Anza is a typical Palestinian village surrounded by olive orchards and tucked away amidst the fir-covered mountains. Located 18km southwest of the governorate capital, Jenin, this village holds agriculture in the utmost importance.
Almost a quarter of its land is covered with olive trees, with its 2,000-strong population a fine example of how to live off the land you have. Houses speckling the hills can be glimpsed from the meandering road which leads to the village. There is a small number of shops selling essentials dotted throughout the newer part of Anza.
