Abda
Abda is a very small village which has evolved in the traditional Palestinian style. Achingly old stone houses speckle the grassy slopes, with dry stone walls cutting their way through thick olive groves. This peaceful, quiet village has just the one shop, selling fresh produce from the surrounding fields including watermelons and delicious figs. There is a stone-cutting factory which employs many of the village’s residents. Abda is located in the Hebron governorate, nearby Al Fawar refugee camp and the town of Yatta.
