Al Rama is a small, tranquil village located 27km southwest of the northern city of Jenin. Brightly coloured houses speckle the green slopes while flowers and bunting add colour to the historic streets. On the edge of the village is a large plastic bottle workshop, which keeps many of the residents employed.

Al Rama is a simple yet attractive village, with some historic ruins atop the hill looming over the village. The city of Jenin is the most buzzing place in the northern West Bank, while many of the other surrounding villages are gems waiting to be discovered.
Proper restaurants can be found in Jenin, but for a quick, traditional bite head to one of the larger towns in the vicinity such as Anabta.
There are hotels in Jenin, as well as other the other cities including Nablus, Ramallah and Bethlehem.
