Araqa
Araqa is a quiet and reasonably attractive village located 15km west of Jenin, the governorate capital.
Its economy is driven by agriculture, with large swathes of olive groves and fruit tree orchards spreading out in every direction.
One memorable feature of Araqa is its rainbow-coloured collection of houses, while the views from atop one of several surrounding hills are simply breath-taking.
