Salfit is one of the smallest governorates in Palestine but is still home to a variety of different settlements on its rolling, olive tree-covered hills.
The city is a small but emerging place, which has fought hardship and come out the other side still smiling. Its roads are lined with palm trees and the centre has a certain hustle and bustle to it.
Salfit is largely dependent on agriculture, particularly olives and almonds, plus fruits like figs, grapes, and apples.
